As part of the annual London Design Festival, the London Design Fair at The Truman Brewery, Shoreditch delivers a four-day event bringing together over 500 industry professionals from 28 countries! Including a mix of established brands, international exhibitors and recent graduates starting within interior design.
With a background practice in Surface Pattern Design, I have always been fascinated with the world of interior furnishings and products. Using this exhibition as a great networking and research opportunity, I spoke to many designers about their practice, current position in the market and their views on sustainability with their products.
The main consideration for this year's show identifies the proposition between bespoke products and sustainable materials, with many companies starting to implement this cohesion. Take a look at some of my favourites from the show.
