Jack Newbury is a practice-based studio that develops socially-engaged outcomes through a combination of research, design and production. With a strong focus on research, Jack loves to employ the engagement of colour and how this can be integrated into our design thinking.
With a background in textile design, Jack has extensive knowledge in trend forecasting, colour and design production.
His practice challenges different systems of infrastructure within social sciences to develop critical projects regarding education, equality and legislation. Jack has exhibited his work at major design events across Europe and has been asked to speak at numerous conferences.
Jack also works as a Project Assistant at UP Projects. where he assists on several projects providing commission, project and event production support and is the in-house print and graphics designer.
In 2019, Jack received a Distinction in his Masters from Central Saint Martins in Material Design where he developed research projects for clients such as Volkswagen, Stella McCartney and The Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
